The Legacy of NTU iBank Club

Established in 2022, OIC Taipei (NTU iBank) stands as Taiwan's first and only student-led Investment Banking Society, uniquely structured around three Core Pillars: Academic Affairs, Research Group, and Marketing & Ecosystem Development. With concentrations in Investment Banking and Alternative Investments, OIC Taipei came to fruition through the efforts of a group of top finance undergraduates at the National Taiwan University (NTU).

Evolving since its inception in 2022, the club has fortified its presence in Taiwan, boasting a community of over 500 members and alumni. As one of the pioneering members of FINs Taiwan, we are on a continuous quest to forge robust international partnerships.

LBO Project Presentation

This semester, the project group carried out LBO project across four distinct industries, leveraging knowledge and skills acquired from project workshops. In the end of the 2026 Spring semester, each team presented outstanding work during the final presentation.

At the end of the fall semester, we welcome our project groups to present their M&A project in front of the industrial professionals.

LBO Project Presentation

During the final presentation, four project teams simulated the investment process of a global private equity fund, identifying targets in industrial automation, automotive parts, fintech, and SaaS, and executing leveraged buyouts using $1 billion in cash and newly issued debt.

At the end of each semester, each project group presents their idea to industry experts in top financial institutes.

Projects & Assessments

1-2 Thematic Projects and 2-3 Case Studies per semester. The projects aim to train student analysts with holistic skills and mindsets for both Asset Management and Investment Banking.
